1. My friend Yentl in Germany had a goddaughter who lived in Chicago who
HAPPENED to be visiting someone's office with the intention of eventually
getting to the WTC observation deck and died that morning.
2. The two people who interviewed me on the 76th floor of the North Tower a
few weeks before it went down lived, but I thought they had died for a while
there.
3. My friend, James O’Toole, lost his step-brother Joseph.
4. My friend, John Presutti, of Staten Island lost his cousin, a fire-fighter.
5. Countless others watched as bodies jumped out of windows, including a man
and woman holding hands and EIGHT people who held hands together as they
jumped. Some of the jumpers killed people on the ground.
6. My
friend Max's mother barely got out of WTC 5 barefoot with kids.
