Birth Order I have been fascinated by the fact that sometimes I can tell a person's birth order. I know there are books about the subject based on many psychological theories, and most of them I subscribe to. While compatibility of couples is often determined easily by what one's birth order is, nothing is set in stone. I also like looking at the characteristics that are usually more common in children. Some of the basics that I've noted in my research have included: 1. Middle children tend to be hit hardest emotionally by death and divorce in the family. 2. First borns are usually the most "successful" (not necessarily financially) among their siblings. 3. First borns are usually not compatible with other first borns. 4. Last borns are usually not compatible with other last borns. 5. Middle children are the biggest "teases". |
