Laura Patrice Kroeckel Beltran

Laura with her son Adam (she and Auggie also have a daughter).  My parents were friends with Laura's parents since we were three years old (she is exactly three months younger than me).  Despite my moving to Europe and New York City in the interim, Laura and I became instant friends upon meeting again when I moved back to Hayward, California after being gone over five years.  She and I spent a great deal of our teenage years together and remain close, like siblings, to this day.  To the left is Laura and me at a dance that she had at her high school.  In fact, it was me who re-acquainted her with her husband, Auggie.   Auggie saw me at our five-year high school reunion and asked about her.  The next thing I knew, they were engaged!  They have both a son and a daughter now.

AKA Shaggycub, Boston, Massachusetts -- I met Colin in one of his visits to New York City.  He is very involved with the Boston Chapter of Gen-X Bears.  He is very at-home in New York City because he is an actor and his independent way of thinking is something that makes him refreshingly unique.

Tony Burgett

This beautiful man is  (with me in the picture on the left).  We met at Southern Decadence 1999.  He is from Alabama and was working in New Orleans when I met him.  He relocated to Gulfport, Mississippi.  He is a big Andrea Bocelli fan and loves the Italian language.

Regi Burns

This is Regi Burns, who has a great web page about him and his lover, Mike.  Regi is political and gregarious.   He's originally from the East Coast, but travels extensively.  I've had the pleasure of meeting a few times at various bear events.
