In My Beginning...

I was born on July 2, 1968 in San Pedro, California (Los Angeles County). My father was in the Coast Guard, so we moved around frequently. I am quite proud of my trailer-trash roots. We lived in Italy, Spain, New York and California.

Because my mother was an Italian citizen still (she was eventually sworn in for her American citizenship by Melvin Belli), I am eligible for Italian citizenship.

Notice the hand holding me up in the picture on the left.  I believe that picture was taken when I lived in Sardinia, Italy.  My kindergarten picture is on the right.
