Don't get me wrong, I love her and appreciate how hard she tries to sing, particularly her version of Battle Hymn of the Republic. Her son is drop-dead gorgeous. One of her fans wrote about her golf-ball nostrils -- but in an affectionate way. She resembled a black Audrey Hepburn when she first teamed up with Burt Bacharach in the late 60's/early 70's.
