Sarah Vaughn I got to see her LIVE in concert at Chabot College in California in about 1987. It's hard to believe how smooth her voice was with that smoking (which ultimately killed her). Her bi-racial daughter's name is Paris and has done some acting. I'm confused as to how old Sarah was when she died. I think she was a lot older than she was reported to be in her obituary. She started out at the Apollo Theater. I remember seeing her on television once singing with someone who I believe was her father, from whom she obviously got her incredible voice. The guy who I believe was her father was very light-skinned. I don't know if he ever recorded.
