After some anniversary shots in our house and backyard, we had a vegetarian meal in the lovely Rockridge part of Oakland at “Millennial,” and then walked over to this “home-made” (delicious) Smitten/Red Wagon ice cream place that we didn’t previously know about, with a diversity placard in the window.
Shando’s 45th Birthday
We had a really fancy dinner at the Cliffhouse in San Francisco (trying everything vegetarian on their menu) and then we took some pictures above the Sutro Baths. The weather was gorgeous and it was fun watching the waves and the birds while we were having our dinner.

San Jacinto Tram and Palm Springs
This was my first time up the mountain in the tram in all the trips I’ve made to Palm Springs. Shando was a veteran. Despite all the warnings, the temperature at the top of the mountain was quite pleasant and not a dramatic difference from the floor, so the winter attire and sweater for overkill, but we had a great time anyway.
