For the first time I hiked ALL the way up the hill to the point in the Glen Cove neighborhood of Vallejo where pme cam look down on the Carquinez Bridge and back at the toll plaza with Napa, Sonoma and Marin counties in one direction and Contra Costa in the other. Snoopy and Bonnie kept up incredibly well while tethered to each other on the tandem leash.

Hauled the kayak over to Greg and Steve’s house to test it in the pool. It had been scorched in the fire, but we suspected not enough to compromise it, but I didn’t want to find out when I was on open water. This was a good test and the results were what I wanted.
Very early morning! Solano Rowing Club’s Women’s Team could not be stopped. With the rain, wind, and cold they moved to Benicia 9th Street Pier from Glen Cove Marina disembarking at 6am.
I was the bowhook in case someone needed relief, but they kicked ass so I got a free ride. I was happy to be there to help our teams get ready for the next race.
While waiting at the Vallejo Yacht Club I felt the 11:12am earthquake from the East Bay, one day after a rare New Jersey centered earthquake was felt by tens of millions of people in the New York City area.
