Our friends Mark and John got us concert tickets (unfortunately they weren’t around when we took these photos). Because of them, we saw a wonderful show with some great drag performers in downtown San Francisco. We then ran into some other good friends at the Lone Star Saloon in SOMA.
We woke up xmas morning with our housemate John and the dogs. Our other housemate Tony was on vacation. It’s a long and probably boring video, but it documents a nice holiday.
We went to my sister’s house in Granite Bay to see my niece and nephew and others for Christmas. I can’t believe how much they have grown! I’m so proud of them! So many people think they are siblings, and they get along so well as first cousins. I know my mother would have been proud of them as well.

This was in front of the table setting for Thanksgiving dinner this year!
To avoid crowds, and because it was in the middle of the week this year, we celebrated on the 16th. We ate at one of our favorite veg restaurants, Souly Vegan, in Oakland. I always get the battered kale with a chipotle aoli sauce. Afterwards we drove around Alameda, which is where we saw this street light with all the tennis shoes in the area of the old Naval station.
This is us at a late holiday party in early January close to Three Kings’ Day. I’m hiding the crutches, but the picture our friend took turned out very nicely in our friends’ lovely home in Dublin, California.
