Happy Birthday Gaia!
Gaia is my cute little cousin (once removed) in Italy who is studying English and who we got to spend a lot of time with during our last trip to Italy (before Covid). She has been good about sending us voice messages on Whatsapp and staying in touch even though she was painfully shy when we first saw her. Here is our video message for her birthday, which I understand thrilled her:

We stopped by the Venetian, so Shando got to see the FAKE Rialto bridge in Vegas a few months before seeing the real one in Venice!
We also went to Fremont Street (found a terrific vegetarian restaurant nearby called Vegnation).

We got to see Christina Aguilera in concert, although ironically it was Celine Dion’s last weekend during her residency there.

Monte Rio Cabin
Cabin in Monte Rio, California where we stayed for almost two weeks to visit Joe’s 50th birthday. The dogs loved venturing around the property with the banana slugs, but we also took a lot of side trips with and without the dogs to nearby Guerneville, Jenner, Bodega Bay, etc. Strangely there was even a live bomb found on the main bridge on one of the last days we were in town, but I don’t think they ever found the person who left it.
